Wellfleet Ma
Wellfleet Ma also is part of the Cape Cod National
Seashore and has much to offer begining with their
beaches. Cahoon Hollow Beach located right at the
Beachcomber,(very convenient) but lots of stairs.
Newcomb Hollow Beach, White Crest Beach, Maguire's
Landing, and Marconi Beach on the ocean side. The
ocean side is the place to be if your into the
surfing.
On the bay side is Indian Neck Beach, Mayo Beach,
Duck Harbor, and Powers Landing. Cape Cod Bay offers
warmer water and is much calmer and better for small
children.
To watch the sunrise visit the beaches on the ocean
side. For beautiful sunsets go to the Cape Cod Bay side.
Welfleet also offers you some great fishing, whether
you prefer surf fishing or taking a charter boat out from
the Wellfleet Marina at the Town Pier. There are also
several freshwater ponds available for fishing. Gull Pond,
Great Pond, and Long Pond await you.
Other recreation activities include boat, canoe, and
kayak rentals, take a sailing adventure, do some biking
on the Cape Cod Rail Trail, hiking the Grand Island Trail
or the Atlantic Whitw Cedar Swamp Trail or visit The Audubon
Sanctuary, be sure to bring your camera and optics for
some bird watching.
You will find some very unique shopping, arts and
crafts, and art galleries throughout Wellfleet. Be
sur to take the time to check them all out.
Be sure to visit Wellfleet's Cinema Complex, including
a huge Flea Market, Mini Golf, Snack Bar and the only
Drive In Movie on Cape Cod. Another great option for
night life is the Beachcomber, from fantastic food to
great music the Beachcomber will feed and entertain
you.
Wellfleet like many towns on Cape Cod offers you a wide
selection of accomodations from campgrounds, cottages, motels,
B & B's, and Inns and just as many dining options, from a
burger to a steak, and clam shack to fine dining.
