Ballston Beach, Head of the Meadow Beach, and
Longnook Road Beach. On the bay side you have
Corn Hill Beach, Fisher Road Beach, Great Hollow
Beach, Pond Village Beach, Ryder Beach, and
Highhead Beach.
Be sure to stop by The Truro Historical Museum
for a piece of Truro's history. Highland Lighthouse
is another very worth while stop in Truro for the
history buffs as well as a very scenic stop.
For some golf visit the oldest course on Cape
Cod, at Highland Links. For those with a interest
in theater stop by the Payomet Theater Tent during
the summer months. For a look at the arts take a
look at Castle Hill (Truro Center For The Arts).
Truro offers plenty of oppurtunity for fishing
charters and surf casting alike or launch your
own boat at the Pamet Harbor. Beaches on the ocean
are also great for surfing, sailing, kite boarding,
and wind surfing. Truro is also part of the Cape
Cod National Seashore and the Cape Cod Rail Trail.
One more great stop in Truro is the Truro Vineyards,
stop in and do a little wine tasting while your there.
Camping is also available at Horton's Campground
in Truro as well as motels, cottages and beach resorts.
