Just off Cape Cod is Plymouth Ma, with quite a few attractions of it's own along with a bit of history, beaches, and a great view of the boats both coming and leaving the harbor.

First stop is Pilgrim Hall Museum located at 75 Court St.

Don't miss visiting the Mayflower II, a detailed replica of the Mayflower located at the state pier, in downtown Plymouth approx. 3 miles north of Plimouth Plantation. Also located nearby is the well known Plymouth Rock.

Plenty of great little shops nearby, seafood restaurants, (always my favorite), ice cream shop, and a beautiful view of Plymouth Harbor.

View the Mayflower II under sail in Plymouth Harbor. Just click on the play button below.

While in Plymouth be sure to visit this country's first grist mill built in 1636. Tours of the Jenny Grist Mill run every 1/2 hour. Pretty interesting when you have never seen one.

Admission to the grist mill is $6.00 for adults, $4.00 for kids 5-12, 4 and under is free.

Along side the grist mill is the herring run, where the herring swim up stream to spawn each spring.

From the grist mill there are 1 hour walking tours thru Historic Plymouth.
