Eastham Ma
Eastham Ma is home to the famous Coast Guard Beach as well
as First Encounter Beach, Campground Beach, Crook's Brook
Beach, Nauset Light Beach, and Rock Harbor Beach to name a
few. Eastham Ma is also part of the Cape Cod National Seashore.
For more recreation ther is kayaking and canoeing, as well
as sailing and boat rentals. Eastham also has access to the
Cape Cod Rail Trail bike path as well as the Nauset Bike Trail
which runs from the visitors center to Coast Guard Beach. Then
there is always a great game of mini golf at Poit's Lighthouse
Mini Golf.
Eastham has many hiking trails, such as Nauset Marsh Trail,
The Lady Slipper Trail, Red Maple Swamp Trail, Fort Hill Trail,
South Eastham Conservation Area, Cedar Banks Trail, and The
Massachusetts Audubon Society Wildlife Sanctuary. Be sure to
bring the camera along and optics if your a bird watcher.
Eastham also boast of great fishing, wheather from a
chartered boat or try some surf fishing, either way enjoy.
Then there are also the fresh water ponds as follows. Depot
Pond, Great Pond, Herring Pond, and Minister Pond.
For some history visit the Schoolhouse Museum, the Swift-
Daley House, and the Captain Penniman House.
Some other points of interest in Eastham are Nauset Light,
the Old Eastham Windmill, the Three Sisters Lighthouses,
and the Old Coast Guard Station.
For the campers out there come to Atlantic Oaks
Campground on Rt 6.
Eastham also has a wide variety of unique stores and shops
for your shopping pleasure.
