Welcome to our page about the Massachusetts Cranberry Harvest Festival, the Cape Cod Cranberry Grower's Association and of course Cranberry Recipes I hope this page helps you in learning more about cranberry industry, growing, and harvesting in southeastern Ma.

I think my first job ever was working on a small cranberry bog when I was about 16, although it didn't seem small at the time. In comparrision to some the bogs where there is nothing but cranberries as far as you can see, it was very small. Back in those days all we did was dry pick, which ment going out on the bog with a motorized cart, loading bags of berries, bring them in, run them through a hopper into boxes, and load them into trucks.
