Chatham is also very well known for it's beautiful beaches. The most popular being Chatham Light Beach followed by several more to include the following. Harding's Beach, Cockle Cove Beach, Forest Beach, Ridgevale Beach, Pleasant Bay, and Pleasant Street Beach. There is also Oyster Pond Beach which is a salt water pond.

While heading to Chatham Light Beach be sure to get photos of the Chatham Light, this is one beautiful lighthouse. While at Chatham Light Beach keep an eye out as you may catch a peek at the harbor seals in the area.

The Chatham Fish Pier is another interesting stop as you can watch the fresh catch come in and be unloaded for tomorrows dinner. One more great scenic view would be to take a ride over to Chatham Bars Inn and take in the view of Pleasant Bay as well as the inn itself.

Chatham is a great little village for shopping, with many specialty shops, art galleries, and places to stop and get a bite or cocktail as well as some teriffic restaurants all within an easy walk along Main Street. They also offer free concerts at the Kate Gould Park on Main Street every Friday evening.

Fishing in Chatham is a great day, wheather you charter a trip, go deep sea fishing, or do some fresh water fishing. Remember a BAD DAY FISHING IS BETTER THAN A GOOD DAY AT WORK.

Chatham also offers three nature trails for a scenic walk as well as access to Monomoy Wildlife Sanctuary, a great stop for bird watching.

Chatham also has a bit of history to offer you with the Caleb Nickerson House. Chatham's Old Grist Mill, the Mayo House, the Old Atwood House Museum, and the Railroad Museum.
