Somewhere along the line I have personaly
become more interested in Bird Watching on Cape
Cod. I think this may become more of a serious
hobby as I get older.
Bird Watching as popular as ever throughout
the Cape Cod National Seashore and the 1,100
acre Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary,Which
is protected by Massachusetts Audubon Society.
With over 250 spieces of birds documented in
the sanctuary, this would seems like the bird
watches paradise.
Another popular area for bird watchers is Monomoy
Island. Access by boat only. Guided tours are available.
Bird watching is also along the beaches, wooded areas,
and around the marshlands.
Specialty stores for the serious bird watcher
are located around the cape and are noted at the
bottom of this page.
